Virginia Traylor Obituary

Virginia Mae H. Traylor RICHMOND - Virginia Mae Hancock Traylor died Oct. 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Traylor; her mother, Addie Kathleen Skarren Hancock; her father, William Grahn Hancock; and her granddaughter, Christine C. Traylor. She is survived by her daughter, Norma Lynne Traylor Theriot and her husband Terry of Breaux Bridge, La.; her son, Robert Edward Traylor; three grandchildren, Christen, Stephanie and Ryan; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Sara, and Gabrielle. Virginia helped to support her family by working within the accounting department of Richfood Inc. and Crestar Bank until her retirement. She was an active member of Lakeside Baptist Church and monetarily supported numerous charities. She accompanied her husband of 59 years on mission trips, leisure traveling and helped organize the Lakeside Little League Ladies Auxiliary in the 1960s. The family will receive friends at Bliley's-Staples Mill from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday and where a funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Interment will be held in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, 7401 Woodman Road, Henrico, VA 23228 or Habitat For Humanity Richmond Metropolitan, HFH, 2281-A Dabney Road, Richmond, VA 23230.

I still in shock about the news of Jinxie. Well, for certain, she & Norman always did things together - I guess Heaven wasn't Heaven without her. I'm so sorry, Norma Lynn, for this double loss.
