Charles Cohen Obituary

Charles M. Cohen PORTSMOUTH - Charles M. Cohen, 96, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010. Mr. Cohen was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Marx Cohen and his first wife, Lois. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Charlie is survived by his wife, Gertrude W. Cohen; stepdaughter, Dorothy Scott; daughter, Patricia C. Billheimer; grandchildren, Shana Wilson and Krysta Billheimer; and step-granddaughter, Desiree Arnold A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Loving Funeral Home today from 2 to 3 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.

What to say..Charlie was a wonderful example of what a true American hero looks like. His sweet face and graceful dancing will be missed for many years to come.

TO Charlie whom we will never forget. I was so honerd to help cellerbrate his 96th birthday. To Trude and all of the family. my heart. goes out to each of you. I am looking forward to seing and rejoiceing
with him in haven.
I love him and like I sead, I will never forget him.

If ever there was an example of an American hero it was Charlie. WWII, Korea, Vietnam. What can you say. He gave more in his life than most people would give in 3 life times. We Loved Charlie. He will be missed very much by all who knew him.
