Mildred Green Obituary

Mildred H. Green NORFOLK - Mrs. Mildred Hillian Green of the 1300 block of East Tanners Creek Drive died Oct. 27, 2010 at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk. Mrs. Green was a native of Chesterfield, S.C. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Green of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Lorenzo Green and Antonio Green of Norfolk, and Herbert Green Jr. (Margaret) of Virginia Beach. She also leaves to mourn her loss a sister, Sarah Hillian Timm of Chester, Pa.; six brothers, the Rev. James Hillian (Mary) of Washington, D.C., Jeremiah Hillian of Bowie, Md., Arnold Hillian of Brooklyn, N.Y., Richard Hillian (Sarah) of Virginia Beach, Leonard Hillian (Phyllis) of Norfolk, and Lawrence Hillian (Effie) of Upper Marlboro, Md. Mrs. Green is predeceased by her daughter, Mrs. Vanessa Hillian McMickle; her parents, Albert and Essie M. Watson Hillian; and her brothers, Albert Hillian Jr. and Willie Hillian. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Olive Grove Baptist Church in Norfolk. Friends may join the family from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Street.
