Charles Trivette Obituary

Charles D. Trivette NORFOLK - Charles Dewitt "CD" Trivette, 86, loving husband, father and grandfather, took his final walk down to Ocean View, Monday, Nov. 1, 2010. He served his country in World War II and survived a Kamikaze attack at Okinawa. CD retired from The Virginian-Pilot. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy; daughter, Michele Mileur (Pat); sons, David Trivette (Nancy) and Tim Trivette (Mary Ellen); and six beloved grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at Ocean View Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Art F. Jensen with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Ocean View Presbyterian Church "Fishes and Loaves" or Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
