Daniel Jones Obituary

Daniel T. Jones CHESAPEAKE - Daniel T. Jones, 63, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 2, 1947, the son of John J. Jones Jr. and the late Mary R. Jackson Jones. He was an avid golfer and a loving husband, father and brother. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicki Jones; his son, Eric Jones both of Chesapeake. He is also survived by his brother, John J. Jones III of Emmaus, Pa., and his sister, Teresa Spanitz of Elkton, Md. At his family's request there will be no services held locally. Memorial donations may be made in Daniel's name to the ALS Association. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.

I only got to know and work with Dan for about three years, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. We loved picking on each other and shared many, many laughs. I have no doubt that he is with God, out of pain and on the finest golf course in Heaven. May God grant his family and friends strength, comfort and understanding.
