Ellen Fowler

Ellen K. Fowler FRANKLIN - Ellen Kiernan Fowler, 48, passed away Nov. 5, 2010 at Sentara Obici Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Alexandria, the daughter of the late John and Nita Barrett Kiernan. Ellen was a graduate of Franklin High School and Tidewater Community College and was a medical records clerk at Sentara Obicia Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 26 years, Lawson W. (Dickie) Fowler; her son, John Andrew Fowler and his girlfriend Cheyenne; one brother John "Buddy" Kiernan of Courtland; and her co-workers and dear friends, Beth and Tracy. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. in Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev Greg Kitts officiating.
