Theodora Shoop Obituary

Theodora Shoop NORFOLK - Theodora "Teddy" Shoop, 86, passed away Nov. 8, 2010. A resident of Norfolk for more than 50 years, Teddy was active in bowling, square dancing, white water rafting and horse back riding but was best at being a home maker. Teddy was predeceased by her parents and brother. Left to cherish her memory is her faithful loving husband of 67 years, Welland "Doc" Shoop. She is survived by her two sons, Donald Shoop, David Shoop and wife Linda; two grandsons, Kenneth Shoop and wife Susan, Kristopher Shoop and wife Jessica; as well as four great-grandchildren, Cory, Ashley, Wesley and Kierstin Shoop. A visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. Services will be officiated by Chaplain Chris Fosback. Condolences may be offered online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
