Rose Vosler Obituary

Rose Adeline Vosler VIRGINIA BEACH - Rose Adeline Vosler, 78, of Bunker Hill Lane, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, in a local hospital. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the widow of Edward Barnes Vosler Jr. She retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. and was a member of Thalia United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines. Rose is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rye of Williamsburg; three sons, Kirk Vosler and Craig Vosler, both of Virginia Beach and Brian Vosler of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four grandchildren, Nathan Vosler, Ian Vosler, Joel White and Darian White. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Thalia United Methodist Church by Pastor David Pasture. Arrangements are under the direction of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thalia United Methodist Church. My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Rose Adelle and My mother [Phyllis LAUGHLIN} were great friends. They met in Sweet Adelines many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.The Sweet Adelines sang at my moms funeral 18 years ago. I hope they sing at hers it made the service very special to all of us .
