Our Dearest Pat,
You will forever live in our hearts. Your infectous laugh and our Saturdays of yard sales will endure for all time. How Bear would dread unloading the car on Saturday. We love you always.

When I think of Pat, I will always remember her flying down our street when I was in high school in her white sports car. She had her hair piled high in an impossibly tall bun, and a laugh was always on her lips. She also helped make me the fat man I am today, because she could not abide an empty plate sitting in front of a guest. As soon as you'd finish a heaping plate of homecooked food, another huge serving would be whomped in front of you no matter how much you protested. She was quite a lady, one of our favorite moms, and I will miss her. Rest easy, Pat, and please don't make all the angels overweight.
