Horace Reed Obituary

Horace F. Reed PORTSMOUTH - Horace F. "Jay" Reed, 36, of Holly Hill Lane, passed away Nov. 9, 2010. He was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Horace was a 1992 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received several trophies while participating in the Marching Band. He was also chosen as a participant in Star Search in the late 1980s. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, DaQuan Reed; his loving and caring mother, Regina Randall; his father, Horace F. Minnefield; two sisters, Amanda and Miranda Minnefield; a brother, Anthony Reed; four nieces, two nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Crum and staff. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321. Steele-Bullock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Viewing will be today from noon to 7 p.m. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Send condolences to www.steelebullockfuneralhomeinc.com.
