Deanne Brickhouse Beckwith
November 15, 2010
I have never known Lillian, or her family. My father, Milan Whitesel Brickhouse was born April 23, 1925, St Brides' to Milan Gates Brickhouse, who died four months later. Milan Gates was the son of William and Zoraida Brickhouse. The young Mother, his wife, took the baby and went to NC to her family in Tyrell co. My father, now 86, and a recent widower, living in Washington NC has never known his paternal family. If in your time of grief, this connection strikes a chord as it has with me, please feel free to call me any time. I read the obituary and felt as if the two babies, 86 years ago should have been family, and possibly they were. I don't want to disturb you now, but am sharing in your grief, and loss of your loved one, obviously cherished by all.
