Lloyd Jenkins Obituary

Lloyd M. Jenkins PORTSMOUTH - Lloyd M. "McCoy" Jenkins, 84, died Nov. 14, 2010. He retired after 35 years with the U.S. Postal Service. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean conflict. He is survived by one sister, Gwendolyn Petty (Asa); one brother, Roderick Jenkins; three nieces, Gwendolyn Mitchell (Frank), Marlene Wright (Anthony), Laurel Wilcox; other relatives and friends; two nephews, Robert Jenkins (Antonia) and Waymond Jenkins; He was predeceased by a nephew, Kevin Jenkins. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Home chapel, 1520 Effingham St., with burial in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will be at 3511 Commonwealth Ave. to receive friends. www.fisherfuneral.com.
