James Seminara

James J. Seminara SUFFOLK - James J. Seminara, 62, passed away Nov. 29, 2010. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Mauro and Julietta Seminara. He was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He retired as a lieutenant with the Westchester Police Department in New York after 20 years of service. Most recently he worked as a real estate agent at Century 21. Jim attended Holland Christian Church and was a member of the Holland Ruritan Club. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Seminara of Suffolk and his daughter, Jessica Seminara of Harrisburg, Pa. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jay Slater Officiating.
