James Seminara Obituary

James J. Seminara SUFFOLK - James J. Seminara, 62, passed away Nov. 29, 2010. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Mauro and Julietta Seminara. He was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He retired as a lieutenant with the Westchester Police Department in New York after 20 years of service. Most recently he worked as a real estate agent at Century 21. Jim attended Holland Christian Church and was a member of the Holland Ruritan Club. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Seminara of Suffolk and his daughter, Jessica Seminara of Harrisburg, Pa. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Jay Slater Officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Chapter, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. We were shocked and saddened by the loss of Jim. He was such a warm addition to our Century 21 Nachman family. He will be missed, the warmest regards to his wife, Susan, and family. Jan-Judy & The "Angels"
