Annie Miller Obituary

Annie L. Miller CHESAPEAKE - Annie L. "Birdie" Miller, 71, of the 100 block of McCosh Drive, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 in Chesapeake. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Pat and Annie Lehmann and was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert C. Miller. She was a member of DeBaun Memorial Baptist Church for 40 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher, organist and treasurer. She was a bookkeeper for Coca-Cola, Norfolk Bottling Plant. She was Past Worthy Matron in the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Robert P. Miller of Chesapeake; a brother, Richard Lehmann; two nephews, Ricky and John Lehmann as well as extended family and many close friends. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The Rev. Robert Emerson will officiate. The interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby St., Norfolk. The viewing will begin Friday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. My sympathies to you and your family. I am Diane Louise (Glaza) Kodet, the daughter of Keith and Caroline (Nessen) Glaza. My father passed in July of this year. My mother still lives with me and will be 90 years old in January. Please keep in touch when things settle down for you.
