Richard Kistulentz Obituary

Richard J. Kistulentz CHESAPEAKE - Richard Joseph Kistulentz, 64, of the 500 block of Warrick Road, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 in his residence. He was a native of Hazelton, Pa., and was the son of Louis (Steve) and Mary Davidick Grudzinski. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Kistulentz Richard was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Catholic and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Tidewater Chapter. Survivors include his parents of Chesapeake and his loving wife of 19½ years, Catherine Cooper Kistulentz of Chesapeake; his sons, Richard J. Kistulentz Jr. of Virginia Beach, Sean M. Morrissey and Brian C. Morrissey and his wife Keri all of Chesapeake; his daughter, Ann Marie Kistulentz of Long Island, N.Y., his sisters, Helen S. Niedermeier and Dagny K. Lauckhardt, both of Chesapeake and Louise G. Thigpen of Vineland, N.J., and his grandson, Brian C. Morrissey of Chesapeake. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. in Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Father Romeo D. Jazmin will officiate. The family will receive friends in the Chesapeake Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Sunday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian Wake service at 6 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at hdoliver.com.
