Doris C. Albertson SOUTH MILLS - Doris Lee Cartwright Albertson, 83, of the 220 block of Keeter Barn Road, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Albertson was the daughter of the late William Thomas Cartwright and Maude Sawyer Cartwright and the devoted wife of Edward Overton Albertson of the residence for 67 years. She was a loving mother, homemaker, attended Sharon United Methodist Church, tireless caretaker of family members and enjoyed vegetable gardening. Along with her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Linda Gray and husband, Daniel and Barbara White and husband, Earl all of South Mills; a son, Ronnie Albertson and friend, Ellen Vaughn of South Mills; daughter-in-law, Sandra Albertson; six grandchildren, Michael, Steven and David Albertson, Buddy Johnson, William Nash, and Teresa Mainello; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Albertson; a sister, Eula Powell; and two brothers, Clarence Cartwright and Shelton Cartwright. A funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. in Twiford's Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the service and at all other times at the residence.
