Denise Simons Obituary

Denise B. Simons NORFOLK - Denise B. Simons, 40, of the 1300 block of Oakmont Place, passed Dec. 8, 2010. Born in Norfolk, she was a PSD tech at LifeNet for 10 years. She attended New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Simons. She is survived by one daughter, Carnieshia Simons; one son, JoCodi Simons; her mother, Johnnie Simons; three sisters, LaTechia Simons, Pamela Willis, and Yolanda Williams; one grandchild, NaJae Simons; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. in Monroe Funeral Home, 1701 Wilson Road, Norfolk. Her remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday. A funeral will be held Monday at noon in New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 1104 Fentress Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. John C. Smith. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
