Karen and family: I did not know Jason, but the funeral service was one of the most touching services I have ever been to. I felt like I knew him after I left. His friends truly loved him and said such wonderful things about him and I saw him as a caring and kind person who would do anything for anyone. I also came out knowing that he really loves his son. I cannot imagine your pain, but I hope you always remember the good because I think he was a great person with a great heart. We never know why things happen, but I can tell you that his death touched a lot of people. God bless you. I hope you find peace in your life and remember the good things about Jason.

Karen and family, My heart goes out to you all. I love you cousin. Although my contact with Jason was limited, I will always remember the kind of young man that made my girls feel welcomed on our visit down there to yall. Your love for him spoke of the kind of person he was. I love you and you are in my prayers.

Jason was a treasure trove of intelligence and humor. I will always remember the fun times and laughs that we shared on the way to basketball games. Jason had genuine kindness in his heart. The respect and care he showed to my sister when they were kids will never be forgotten. Many junior high kids looked at a special needs person with fear or disgust, not Jason, he showed kindness and friendship. I will never forget you buddy!

To the Arban family...I remember Jason from Stonebridge days. He was friends with my children, Rob and Sherri. No matter what the occasion, Jason always had a smile on his face and the kids flocked to him. Rest in peace, Jason. My thoughts and sympathy are with you and your family.

My prayers go out the the entire Arban family. I had the pleasure of meeting Jason while we were both at SouthCoast Recovery back in 2009. He was an amazing guy who made me as well as others always laugh. The day that I completed my program, Jason came up to me,hugged me and gave me a t-shirt that he had worn several times with an amusing saying on it. I told him I knew it was one of his favorite and I couldn't take it but he told me it was to remind me he would always be just a phone call away if I ever needed him. Although I never spoke with Jason again that t-shirt hangs in my closet where it will always be a reminder of the short friendship I shared with him.

My condolences to the Arban family. Jason was a great friend and a wonderful father. He had such an amazing sense of humor. He could always make me laugh when joking around. But when the conversation was serious Jason was right there on my level. We could talk about life, love and our boys. Jason was always talking about Chaz. Fortunately they hit it off the minute they met. Whether celebrating birthdays with giant blow up slides or playing with their ride on toys in our tiny back yard they always had fun. And that's one thing I can say about Jason he was always fun. He will be sorely missed but he now rests in a peaceful place.
