Willmers White Obituary

Willmers L. White CHESAPEAKE - Willmers L. White of 1200 Richwood Ave. passed from earth to glory Friday Dec. 14, 2010 at The Allzwell Assisted Living Center, Great Bridge Blvd. A wake will be held at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd., from 7 to 8 p.m., today, Dec. 28. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Gilmerton Star A. M. E. Zion Church, 1722 Shell Road, Chesapeake. The Rev. Paul Griffin officiating. She leaves to morn six sons, two daughters, 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, You leave us to mourn your passing from this life into eternity. But as your Son I have learned in order to Live you must die. Soon and very Soon we're going to see the King.
