J. Vaughan Obituary

J. Randolph Vaughan PORTSMOUTH - J. Randolph "Randy" Vaughan died peacefully Dec. 23, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at First Lutheran Church of Norfolk, 1301 Colley Ave., Norfolk, VA 23517. The family will receive visitors immediately after the service at the church.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Loved this guy. Randy, Mary and Charlie dropped into our junior year at WWHS (Class '65). They were 'mid-years.' He was a born leader with a Midas Touch. Randy invented charm. Mary, we mourn with you. You and his family are in our prayers.

I had the pleasure of playing music with Randy as an original member of the Sting Rays band. He will be missed and fondly remembered by the other members. He's gone ahead of us to arrange a reunion performance in the heavenly choir.
