Dear Lois - "my sister in my heart". Harry and I will never forget what you and Joe did for Manny - and when I finally arrived in Virginia and met the two of you - it was like coming home. You were so kind and loving to my sister and myselt. Over the last few years, speaking with you and occasionally with Joe - was just so special. We wanted to call you and Chris and Lori to pay our respects, but - with all your friends and neighbors coming to pay their respects - we will wait a day or two. You all have got to know that we are thinking of you and yours and send our love to you all. Your are in our prayers. Much love, Marcia and Harry.

Dear Lois and family,
The loss of Joe is very sad for myself and my family.....he was more than a neighbor or a friend but indeed a part of our family....even though you have been away from Pittsburgh for many years, when we saw you or were together, it was as if time had not passed....the closeness that we shared as families would always be the same.........I have many fond memories of Joe but what I liked most about him was how welcome he always made you feel when you were in his home.....he was an uncomplicated man who was a good husband, father and grandfather......that makes him a man to be admired and an inspiration to his grandchildren......I know that your loss will be difficult but good memories will warm your hearts on trying days......my thoughts and prayers are with you....this is when I miss living a few doors away.....Love you.........Judi
