I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Madron. She was a dear lady whom I saw every evening in the dining room at East Pavillion. Her table was near my mother's and I would speak to her and we would chat each evening. I marveled at her knowledge and her sense of humor!!! To have lived to be 101 years old and have all her faculties, to be able to roll her own self to and from her room and to join in our conversations was just wonderful. She was quite a lady, and although I did not know her until my mother entered East Pavillion 3 years ago, I gained a true friend and I will miss her deeply.
