Frank Stevens Obituary

Frank E. Stevens Jr. PORTSMOUTH - Frank Edward Stevens Jr., 83, passed away Jan. 6, 2011. He was the son of Helen and Frank Stevens of Fincastle, Va. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Violet Stevens; three children, Sharon Caddy and husband David of Portsmouth, Denise Quarles and husband Michael of Lithia, Fla., Lynn Stevens and wife Jan of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William J. Stevens of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Barbara Stevens Campbell of Buchanan, Va. Frank was a retired co-owner of Churchland Glass, a member of the Churchland Lions Club and a Naval veteran of World War II. Services will be private. The family will have a reception on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Sharon and David Caddy. Loving Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com. The family would like to express their gratitude to April Neal, Jo Ann Moore, Paulette Jones and Amy Lynch for the love, care and support given to Frank during his illness.
