To the Potter Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss but we all know that Marilyn is in a better place! I wish I could come to the funeral of a women that was such a influence in my younger days. Faith and I were best friends and we were always at her house or mine :) We had such a great time as we were growing up. I can remember every morning before we had breakfast we would read one of mom's daily breads. There were the little cards in a loaf of bread on the table. Do you all remember that? :) And dad would always say that Faith and I were little connivers. And he was right we were always looking for something to do, and maybe not always the right thing. Wow, I have so many memories with the Potter family :) I have three children and three grandchildren and life is good. You are in my prayers and I love you all! Love, Cindy (Nevins) Padget

Grandma, What an amazing life you had! Living every moment to the fullest, you exhausted every single day of everything it had to offer. Whether you were taking a simple stroll, an invigorating walk, or a physically exhausting hike you were always putting one foot in front of the other. You kept going! The adversities of life never stopped you, never broke you, never once! You always turned it all over to Jesus and kept going! When you faced a mountain you climbed it! When you came to the raging rivers of hurt and pain you swam them! When you encountered thorns and briers you put your hip boots on and you kept going! It was the great Harriet Tubman who said, "When you hear the barking of the dogs, KEEP GOING" and that is just what you did, Grandma, for 91 awesome years! You put your hand in the hand of the Man from Galilee and you kept going! You kept going until Thursday evening, January 6, 2011, when at last you crossed over into God's eternal Heaven to be forever with the Lord you served and loved! Always remembered with love,
your granddaughter, Sheri Potter
