When I think of Yahtzee, pipe smoke rings and Colgate tailgate parties, I think of Uncle Mel.

I am very grateful for the great memories of both you and Aunt Glad with visiting you, eating brunch out together and celebrating my memorable 25th birthday with me.

You and Aunt Glad are a great example of what every couple should be. Thank you for reminding us to savor life. :)

Love,
Jacki & family

Dear Aunt Glady and family,
How much I love seeing your family pictures and reading your thoughts of Uncle Mel. I have so many fond memories of my summer visits to Oswego. My husband George feels very proud to have know Uncle Mel and our visits to their house in Greene will be cherished forever. You all have done a wonderful job in raising your own families and how glad I am that we had that family reunion a few years back. Your Dad(Grandpa) and Husband(my uncle) holds a special place in my heart. I send out my love and concern to all of you and will keep you all in my thoughts.
Fondly from your lovely niece and cousin,
Laura Naholnik

Gramps- We were all so lucky to have you as our grandfather, father, and husband. You showed the true meaning of happiness to all of us. How special it was to go on long walks with you through the woods and throw those velcro spurs at each other. From singing all the kids songs and even making best friends with the neighbors dogs( Snowy and Big Red) Who could forget a man who wore old school converse sneakers, plaid pants, and sat down each night with a pipe and a boilermaker. From now on everytime I smell a pipe or order a side of spagetti and sausage, I will think of all the great times we had together. Thanks so much for all the support and home cooked meals when I was in college. Your home was always so warm and welcoming which always made it so much fun. You have been a great father to your two kids because they have turned out to be great parents themselves. You always had so much energy. Even in the last few months of your life you still had the energy play with our kids and give them a taste of how a person should connect with children. You will always be loved by so many. Thanks for touching our lives in such a positive way. Mike Hogan and Family

Dear Glad, Sorry to hear about Mel.
We had a lot of good memories together, especially cutting wood. At least I have all the good memories to remember of us. Ken
