Chuck and Dale... I just found out tonight about Pops. I'm sorry I was unable to be there for you guys during the funeral. You know I would have been there for my brothers. Just because we have drifted apart, doesn't mean I have forgotten you. Our bond is big and solid and strong. No one can take away what our family had in the day, and it'll always be there no matter what. I am glad to hear that Pops is no longer suffering with his health issues, but it does seem like it was too soon for him to go. Send me an email if you guys want to chat. I'm always thinking of you guys. Take care - your sis - Deb

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I grew up with this family. We lived in Davis Hollow,in Newark Valley ,all as kids We played hide-n-seek in the dark. I was 11 years old at the time and had a big crush on Dutchie {Roland} We live in SC so I get the Owego paper about 2 weeks late .I read a year or so back of Jerry SR death and today we get the Owego paper with Jimmy Srs death and now I'm on the computer and see where Dale has pasted .so that only leaves Bobby and Stubby{grant} I married a Smith but no relation . I'll keep Dale and Jimmys families in our prayers . Feel free to e-mail me . [email protected] and may GOD bless you all edie
