Dalyce Dahl Frawley, 47, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 5, 2008, at her home in Bainbridge, N.Y. Born January 26, 1961 in Merced County, California, she was the daughter of the late John Edwin Dahl, Jr. and Shirley Leonard Codner. Surviving are her three children, daughter, Laura Frawley, Ridgeland, S.C.; and sons, Stephen and Scott Frawley, Bainbridge, N.Y.; husband, Thomas Frawley, Jr.; stepfather and mother, Karl and Shirley Codner, Carlisle, Pa.; her sister, Julie Dahl Travis and husband, David and their sons, Andrew and Grant Travis, also of Carlisle. Locally, her uncle, Robert Dahl, Unadilla, N.Y.; and her aunt, Sondra Dahl, Ithaca, N.Y. Additionally, several loving maternal aunts, uncles and cousins on the West Coast as well as paternal great-aunts and uncle on the East Coast. Dalyce graduated from Sidney Central High School. She also earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from Broome Community College, of which she was very proud. She enjoyed her profession and helping people. She will be remembered not only as a devoted mother who had a deep love of family and friends, but one whose life centered around her home, cooking, gardening and animals.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 10, 2008, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street, Sidney, N.Y. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2008, at the funeral chapel with Rev. James Shevlin of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney. Donations, in lieu of flowers, should be made in the memory of Dalyce Frawley to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 East Main Street, P.O. Box 182, Sidney, N.Y. 13838. Arrangements by C.H.
