Lorraine,
Ron was a simple man for all to admire for the ability to be a father, husband, and a true gentle man. My words can never flow from my tongue to express the loss of all. The world was at a stand still in reverence for a father whose love was foremost in his children. The husband who's love for the woman that captured his heart and was able to hold in her hand with his blessing. The gentle man will never be forgotten in simplicity, honesty, and the stories that everyone took away some quote or memory from.
My prayers are with you along with my love!

Dear Aunt Lorraine, Debbie & Mike,

Adrien is presently hospitalized in Quebec but he wanted us to send you his sincere sympathy. He will always remember your visits to Saint Basile, the happy times we all spent in the basement either playing pool, singing or dancing. May the memories of the love and laughter shared in those moments remain close to your hearts.
Adrien's thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sending you his love,

I know the loss of Ron will leave an empty place in your hearts than none will ever fill. I will always remember Ron's humor, his compassion, his active mind and his depth of soul. It was a privilege to walk this earth with him for a time, and to be able to say that we were family.

Dear Lorraine, Mike, & Debbie …
Ron gave me a gift that I will never be able to repay – the gift of great optimism in the face of adversity – the ability to make the best of every situation. I will forever remember his ready smile and his hearty laugh … and especially, his uncanny talent for being able to pull a story from his past to fit every occasion. I never tired from listening to them … even the repeats got better each time. ;)

Not a day … not a day has passed since late June that Ron has not been in my thoughts and prayers. I feel so guilty for not having spent more time with all of you … we never seem to realize it until the time has slipped away forever.

As Ron’s youngest brother, I will ALWAYS look up to him – his cheerfulness has been, and will always be, an inspiration to all who knew him. In an age stress, Ron was as refreshing as an ocean breeze on a hot summer's night. In an age of outrageous behavior, Ron was a man of virtue, honesty, and class. I miss him ...

Love you all,

Dear Aunt Lorraine, Debbie & Mike,

Let each tear that falls
be a gentle reminder
that you and Uncle Ron
truly loved each other,
and made such a meaningful difference
in each other's lives -
and that, is a gift
that no loss or sorrow,
or time or distance
can ever take away.

Tante Lorraine,

Uncle Ron is watching out for you - he's your angel. May you always have love, comfort and courage.

Dear Lorraine, Debbie, Mike & Montanari family,

When the joys
are still remembered
But the sorrow
has quietly gone,
There will always be
a special place
In the heart —
where love lives on.

May your
special memories
be a comfort to you
at this time.
Thinking of you, Lorraine & family,
and wishing there were words
that could take away your sadness.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We will miss you, Ron.......there will always be a special place for you in our hearts.

Lorraine, Mike and Debbie,
It is still so hard to believe that Ron is no longer walking among us. He will always be my big brother…the brother who loved to tell me of the day I was born, and of our Dad being told that he had a daughter. He was grown and about to join the Air Force by the time I started elementary school, and married, working for IBM in NY and about to start a family as I entered junior high school. Yet, somehow, even though distance and life’s circumstances kept us from seeing each other as often as we would have liked, it was wonderful knowing that he was always ‘there’, just a phone call away, or in more recent years, an e-mail, away…my big, teddy-bear-hug-giving brother. I will always love him so much...and I will miss him terribly. Please know that he and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. My own comfort comes from knowing that he is with our Mom and Dad now, giving them the smile and hugs that I will ALWAYS remember…maybe dancing with Mom…and watching over all of us. I love you….always know that I am here for you. Love Always….Mary

Lorraine, I was deeply saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. Please accept my profound sympathy to you and your family. The two of you were poetry in motion when you danced together. I remember Ron as a kind, gracious, and charming man. He will be in my thoughts always.

Deepest sympathies go out to you aunt Lorraine, Mike and Debbie. Uncle Ron was a very kind and giving man. We enjoyed your trips to Komoka when you came to visit us and mom (Anita). I remember uncle Ron sitting in mom's chair watching the football games. I especially liked the time when we sat on my backyard deck, barbecuing T-Bone steaks and sipping on a nice fine wine. Still remember the times when you uncle Ron, Debbie & Mike came to visit us in Inverhuron Ontario, that was allot of fun. One of the happiest times I can recall was when we were all dancing in my house and you and uncle Ron danced the waltz. I lit a candle for uncle Ron along with my thoughts and prayer at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home at www.colemananddaniels.com in Endicott. He will be missed dearly by me, my daughters Stephanie & Melissa. Uncle Ron is in our prayers. Love Fern, Stephanie & Melissa.

Lorraine, Mike, & Deb, I still can't believe Ron is gone, Every day when I open my email, I expect to see a note from him - something about the military, or a joke I already sent to HIM. I didn't see him as much as I would've liked but I always knew he was there. He was always supportive and an optimist. I loved him even though he was Yankees fan. That was the best - watching the Red Sox/Yankees playoff games with him in '04. I've never seen him so speechless. I will truly miss him. He had a great smile but his hugs are what will live on forever. Know that I'm here for you guys. Love, Carol

-----------------------------------
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
