I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Dick in high school and graduated in 1961. We had some very good times together. The most memorable was at the first drags he was part of when he was going up against a much better, newer and faster car. He had gone over the starting line by about 1 foot and they told him to back up. Then the starter waved his flag and the other car took off,, but Dick was still in reverse. Funny yes..to all but Dick. I will always remember our times together. Good, honest and clean fun. Memories can last forever. Lou Neira

To Cicely,The children of my child hood frien Dick Luis ,Lorrie and Lionel .
The Luis family has always been an important part of my life. Having met
Dick in our early high school years .
as well a the rest of the family has always been very special to me.
I worked for Dicks dad "SLIM" at IBM Owego, New York . A guy who gave me a great opputinuity in life. Dick went off to school and I went to work for "Slim" . Hazel was the mom a sweeter woman never lived.
Lorrie and Lionel became my friends as well .
But Richard he was a special "DUDE" he knew what he wanted out of life and how to get it. We had a common intrest in cars we did a lot of "RIDING AROUND" together in His 49 Mercury and later his baby blue Studerbaker "HAWK" convertible
with the wheels painted half blue and half white. In short we had wonderful and sometimes more exciting times than needed to be. We hot rodded, We laughed ,We told jokes, we drank , we sang, we loved the girls, and loved the life of the 60's. My sincere sympathys to all of his famliy and friends. I will cherish his memories forever.

Cicely and Family:
Although it is difficult to truly express my sorrow with your loss, I just wanted you to know that you have a "shoulder" if you should ever need it. Through this business of real estate, I have gotten to know your husband per his reputation. And it is a marvelous reputation with a great many fond memories from those who knew, and loved, him. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you and your family.
