Harold Holst Obituary
of Vestal
Funeral services for Hal will be held on Wednesday 11 a.m. at Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, 308 Main Street, Johnson City. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, with a Masonic Funeral Service afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hal's name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Fla. 33607-1460 or to his church.

Dear Muriel,John, Anita and family,
We are saddened to hear of Hal's passing. We remember the get togethers at John's house and the "serious" croquet games. Even through his illness, Hall had a great sense of humor, and was a great family patriarch. We always felt very comfortable in his presence. May God bless all of you and help you through your loss.

To the Holst Family I was saddened to learn of Harold's passing. I gave him Chemotherapy a long time ago and remember him as a gentle man, always gave me a hug and a smile... I've thought of him through the years... will always remember him. Your family is in thought and prayer.
