Louis H. Grab Jr.
of Harpursville
Louis H. Grab Jr., 97, of Harpursville, passed away Thursday, July 31st, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence of 63 years; and great-granddaughter, Marlena Bixby. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Horan and Robert Handel, Harpursville; grandchildren, Melanie and Wesley Bixby, Harpursville, Marilee and Christopher Conner, Apalachin, Phillip L. Horan, Port Crane; great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Pandish, Binghamton; niece, Gertrude and Lowell Parker and family, Stony Point; his faithful companion, Freckles; the family's dear friends, Elizabeth Dudley, South Kortright, and daughter, Roxanne Palmatier, Stamford, Karl Zandt, Deposit.
Funeral Services will be held at the North Fenton United Methodist Church on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Cindy Wenzinger, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in New Ohio Cemetery, Tunnel. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
