Barbara Pisani Obituary
Barbara (Lang) Pisani
of Endicott
Barbara (Lang) Pisani, of Endicott, N.Y., passed away peacefully on August 10, 2008 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Croydon, England. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Wood, Massena, N.Y., Rosalyn Wood, Easthampton, Mass., Benjamin Pisani, Endicott, Elizabeth Pisani, Binghamton; her sister, Carol Cooper, Swinden, England; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sal and Sue Pisani, Endicott; her beloved pets, Lexie and Rascal; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was employed by the Johnson City School District with 18 years of service and a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott. The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff of Wilson Hospital's CCU.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph's School, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760; or SPEAK Animal Hospital, 351 Flint Rd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.

Dear Elizabeth, I met your Mom 8.5 years ago at C.Fred and really enjoyed getting to know her at lunchtime and at the many in service days. I was so sorry to hear about her passing when I returned to school this fall. Take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and in God's memory.( I only knew here for a short time, but found her to be a kind and pleasant person.)

Hello Ben & Elizabeth,
Just wanted to tell you how sad it was for me to hear about your mother's passing. If you remember, your mom worked with me as an aide in my classroom for many years at C. Fred. I have so many good memories of the times we shared together. I've heard from Penny Mead that the two of you have turned out very well. I'm sure that your memories of the special times you shared with your mother will always be there with you.

Liz, Ben and family,

Liz and family- I am so saddened to hear of the news. Barb was an amazing lady, and a saint for putting up with all of the crap we pulled in high school. She always had a kind word to say about somebody, and made us laugh all the time. Liz, you're my best friend and I am here for you for anything you need. Your mom was like my 2nd mom in high school and was simply amazing. I'll never forget her. May she rest in peace and watch over you and the rest of your family.

Mrs.Pisani was a teachers aid in my classes in school.whn i went to C.FRED middle school.I gave her trouble,as any kid did,but i was special to her as she was to me! i havent had any contact with her since school but ive thought of her throughout the years.im sooo sad at her passing but she is in heaven i know it!! god just got another great angel.she will keep us all safe.to her family..i am soo sorry for your lose.but know that you all had such a great and wonderful woman apart of your life for years,so remember those years! god bless you-Maria

To all of Barb's Family: I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such a wonderful woman...so kind and caring, and so much fun! I will never forget the time she gave a big, loud yawn in the middle of the Superintendant's speech on the first day of school in the High School Auditorium. I think she was really asleep! It brought down the house! I ate lunch with her for many years at C. Fred, and we would have such a good time. We solved the world's problems around that lunch table. Take comfort in the fact that she absolutely adored each and every one of you. She always spoke of you with such pride and love. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was much more than a co-worker; she became a dear friend. We had a connection and that will be something I will always treasure; her friendship. Her love and the pride she had for her children was no secret. I know that even now she watches over her brood, just close your eyes and she'll be at your side. Ben, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Rosalyn, We are so sorry to hear about your Mum. She was a sweet, loving, caring woman. She loved you all, with all her heart, through good and bad times.
