Dear Ginny, Regina and Serena
We just heard this morning about Paul's passing and it is with heavy heart that we send you this note. We cherish our memories of all the good times we enjoyed together at the lakes, on the snow, "breakfasting in the woods", playing cards.......... Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you, as always.

Gina, Serena and Ginny,
I was saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He truly had a great soul. I have excellent memories of him around the table or in the front room at Gina's debating the finer points in life. No matter how many times you debated a topic with him he would find a new side to debate. Not only was it great fun but it challanged me and others to be more informed. For that I thank him. Paul will be missed.

Dear Fiacco Family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My father Jim Stadelmaier and Paul were great friends and I have many fond memories of summer vacations in upstate New York with our families. I always remember how Paul and my Dad laughed when they were together. As an adult I realize how special there friendship was and how lucky my dad was to have a friend like Paul.

Ginny and girls we will really miss Paul. He was really special to us.

This was in January, just before I left to the airport, after one of those loud meals with the Warrens, the Damms and the Fiaccos!

It took me a while to find the words to write in this book. It's hard to define what I feel. I feel like I lost a friend, a teacher, a dad. Paul made me smile every time I saw him. It was so great to see him! It was so great to hear his voice, his laughs, his wise words, his witty jokes.

I don't want to forget anything. I keep singing to myself "Two Irishmen, Two Irishmen, sitting in a ditch, one call the other..." and you know how it goes. I also keep trying to remember his tips on how to make his great "Portugueee" soup, or Swedish Meatballs!

The last time I was in the US him and Ginny would come pick me up for lunch, followed by cooking lessons! He spent a whole afternoon teaching me the art of the meatballs. Then, after a few hours he turns to me and says "You know, it's great you come here, spend the day with us, ummm, I don't know if you know this, but my daughter used to date your husband!!". And he grinned. I joked back: "Really? Oh, man, nobody told me! I gotta get out of here!".

I didn't say it then, but now I think "Thank God she did". If she hadn't, today I wouldn't have these wonderful memories, I wouldn't have met the great Paul and his Fiacco clan! So thank you, Serena. Thank you, Regina. And thank you, Ginny. Thanks for allowing me to be your friend. I love you and I feel your pain. I wish I was there to give you a hug, a big Brazilian hug.

I added this photo because it was the last hug I got from Paul. I'll never forget him.

Our friendship with the entire Fiacco family, which spans over 50 years, is close to our hearts. And especially our dear friend Paul, with his infectious smile and kind heart. He made our wedding day memorable as our best man, and remained a lifelong friend.
See you later, "Kinker".

As part of the North Carolina Purifan family I had the honor of meeting Paul in Witchita last year. I know his Purifan has improved the quality of life to a lot of North Carolinans, especially asthma sufferers. My condolences to his family. I know his legacy will live on.

What a loss! Paul was his own person, always had a smile, and a funny story to share. He never seemed to change no matter how many years went by. He touched many lives and left this world a better place.

We have had the enjoyable experience of being next-door neighbors to the Fiacco family for the past 29 years. When they moved to 1134 Armstrong Ct, Derby, in 1979, it was only to be for a short time until they would move back to the majestic mountains of Colorado. Instead they settled for a creek lot in Derby! It has been a privilege to share with them the daily experiences of life.

We called Paul and Ginny our "60's Hippie Flower Children." We can't think of Paul without remembering one of his many funny stories. He was intelligent, witty, enjoyed people and life in general. He definitely marched to his own drummer and did not feel the need to try to impress anyone. He was just "Paul" and we will miss him.

Ginny, Regina and Serena, he left you and everyone who knew him a great legacy of love and memories.

Our love,

Abrian Burke

I'm in shock! I'm a cousin of Paul, my father, John, being the brother of Julia. I used to see Paul a lot as we visited the Fiacco house when I was a kid. Paul was about 10 years older than me. He was funny, great personality. Later on over the recent years, he'd surprise my dad when he was in town and drop by. Really lit up my father to see Paul. He was special.

As the Maryland Dealer for Purifan, I was very impressed with Paul's vision for the company. My only opportunity was to speak with Paul occasionally via the telephone on technical issues. I will remember his memory during my daily sales calls. My thoughts are with the Fiacco Family

Hello Fiacco Family,
I am Julie Venditti, daughter of Polly and Joe Majewski, the Syracuse portion of the family. My mother was the sister of Alice Esce and Uncle Carmen her husband. My grandmother was Julia Fiacco. They used to call her Tula. There are only a few of us left up here in Syracuse, but please know that I will be in touch with Aunt Julia and we are planning a trip within the next couple of weeks to see her and spend the day with her. I know how she loved to have people around her kitchen table and share memories of the old days and all of her children, grandchildren and friends. I will keep you in my prayers to ease your hearts.

Only briefly meeting Paul on a Omak visit to be with the girls, I came to a complete understanding of how much love is given & shared within the Fiacco Family. Fiacco Family:
I met Paul when he came to Southern Indiana to help me with a job and then met him & Ginny in Wichita for dinner while attending a training seminar about 6 months later. He took me all around the warehouse showing me all his latest ideas & creations he was working on or had the ideas for. He made me feel an important part of the Purifan family. When he came to Indiana he went out to lunch with about 15 of my family members & friends where we all sat around laughing & Paul telling us about how he came up with the idea for the Purifan How he had a broken leg & wanted a cigarette but didn't want to smoke in the house.

He was one of the most thoughtful persons I have ever met & such a joy to be around the short time I knew him. He will be missed by all of us in Southern Indiana. Our thoughts & prayers are with all the family.

Ginny-
As you know the only peace of mind any of us can have when we lose a loved one is to have the comfort they are in heaven and a better place than any of us. Marilyn and I always enjoyed Paul's friendship, personal support, wit and humor. While there are a lot of good memories I could share, I am reminded of the "growing up" stories you guys shared with us at Lake Kahola while boating and falling off the jet ski. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls.

I am shocked as I have just read the Eagle online at Kansas.com from here in Florida. I had the privelage of meeting Paul in 2000 after I had read a full page promotion about Purifan in the Sunday Eagle. I was very interested in Purifan and immediately purchased one and soon developed friendship and business relationship with Paul . I became a distributor and enjoyed Paul and his offbeat humor. I was just going to call him over the weekend and got sidetracked by having to prepare for Hurricane Fay. Paul, Godspeed to you my friend.

Diane Roads

August 18, 2008

We all remember the caring attitude that Paul had. I worked with Paul at Heartland Tech. Not only did he love people deeply but he was a brilliant person. I remember his cat story where he asked the Lord to let him live just one year cat free. I don’t know if he ever got to live one year cat free but he sure did make me laugh when he told the story. That was Paul’s specialty making people laugh and being a brilliant inventor. We love you dearly and miss you deeply. My heart goes out to the family and those of us who knew Paul that will miss him.

I'm still in shock since hearing the news from my folks, next door neighbors of the Fiaccos. Paul was one unique individual, definitely marched to his own drummer, with a mind that never stopped churning. Memories go back many years--I'll never forget the day he and I were picking jalapenos in his garden (circa early 1990s); he looked up at me and said "I will if you will", holding a pepper to his mouth. Long story short, we both did and like to died, racing each other to the house for a cold drink. Paul, we'll miss you. My heart definitely goes out to your great family.

Steve Read

August 18, 2008

I was shocked and so sorry to hear about Paul. He was a great next-door neighbor when I was growing up, and I always enjoy coming home for visits and seeing Paul. He was a great listener and always made me feel special. Armstrong Court won't be the same without him.

My heart goes out to your family. It was so apparent that he loved you. Paul was one of a kind. Very friendly and interesting fella. We had the pleaseure of meeting and visiting w/ him here @ SRS while we were having these wonderful fans installed throughout the building. He looked like BOB ROSS the "Happy Trees" painter. He shared a great story with us. Obviously we wern't the first to think he looked like BOB. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you in your time of grief.

Paul was a great guy, very intelligent and humble. He will be missed at Purifan. He was very excited about seeing his invention installed in more than 60 school districts to help students and teachers live healthier lives.
We will work hard to make his invention have the best success possible for his wife and daughters.
