My Deep felt smpathy to the Millward Family, I have the priviledge of meeting both Gloria and Ed apr. 5 yrs ago, as i came into their home and cut their hair. This is my business. The beauty and love that they had was clear from the day we met ! I just now (9-6-8), heard of her passing. I am deeply saddened, yet at peace that she is with our Lord and with Ed ! They will be missed until the day we all unite once again. Peace and love to the family until then. So blessed to have that time with them ! Love to you ... Kathi Gow

Millward family:
I did not know Gloria for long, but for what time I did get to know her I am very thankful. I am a new CNA on Violet court, and I remember seeing Gloria on the unit, whizzing around in her electric wheel chair, happy despite her physical adversity. During my first week of orientation 2 weeks ago, for lunch the residents were served pierogies and our Gloria was sitting in the lobby, fork and knife in hand, looking down to hall towards the elevators just waiting for that lunch cart. I'd never seen somebody so enthuiastic for lunch before! I playfully teased her that pierogies were my favorite food and if she didn't keep an eye on her lunch that I was going to eat her them on her. She did not hesitate to eat every last bit of it and proudly handed me her empty plate with a grin from ear to ear. But that was Gloria - to me, those pierogies represented her appetite for life.
Best Wishes to the Millward family.
