Charles Zimmer Obituary
of Harpursville
Charles H. "Charlie" Zimmer Sr., 74, of Harpursville, died Sunday morning, August 31, 2008, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Theda; five children, Chaz and Sharon, Larry, Chris and Dale, Lisa and Dave, Steve and Laurie; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with two more expected soon; a brother, Ben and Trish Zimmer, Fla.; his sisters, Loretta Fitzsimmons, Alaska, Eska Lochman, Ariz., Annamae Meyer, Binghamton; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was a member of Teamsters Local 693, drove truck for City Cartage for over 25 years, and loved to dirt race at the local tracks.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Rev. William Fowler, Pastor of Bethel Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

As we say goodbye to you today, know that it is not forever goodbye. You will always be in our hearts and our thoughts. I will make sure that your memory lives on forever. I love you Uncle Chuckie and always will....I miss you already and always will!!!!!
