To the entire Giambalvo Family,
I just heard about John's passing from Tim Boland - and was stunned. As with many people who've posted messages here, I hadn't been in touch with John in quite awhile, but that doesn't diminish all the fond memories I have of him and the whole family. I always felt right at home with you, and John was always a welcomed fixture at my family's house "on the hill". Whenever I'm back in Binghamton for a visit and drive by your house on the corner, I smile inside thinking of the warm friendships it represents, and all the mischief John and the rest of us got into as teenagers. (I'm smiling again as I bet John is now, too!)
You and John are in my prayers.

We extend our most sincere condolences to the entire Giambalvo family. John was a high school classmate of ours and we recall his kindness, compassion for others and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by the great loss. John was a customer of mine in the optical industry. Over the short time of a year and a half that I had the priveledge of knowing him he is a really genuine, sincere person and was a pleasure to speak with and do business with. My deepest sympathy to his family and my prayers are with you all.

Dear Diane and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember John and the family growing up in Port Dick. (John was our paperboy.) It sounds like he had wonderful life and a family that was proud of him. It's been many years but my thoughts are with you.

Uncle John-I remember you as a funny, easy to get along with uncle. Even though we didn't get to do family get togethers as much as we all would have loved, work and distance always stood in all our ways! I just wanted to let everyone know that the service yesterday was so beautiful, and some laughs and tears were shed. And as my daughter Madison said....YOU ARE HER NEW ANGEL LOOKING OUT FOR HER! I'm glad that you are now looking down at her!!
Love to all our family...
Kelly, Steve and little Madison!!!

I am more than very saddened to hear that John has passed away. John and I were great high school buddies and although I hadn't heard from John in many years, I considered him to be a great lifetime friend. Hi to Diane and Bud. I still remember playing cards with Bud at the house and sharing class with Diane at CV, as well as getting into a few predicaments with John on friday nights. Your family always treated me like part of the clan. I think I may still owe Bud some poker money. I will notify Ray Matteson, who also used to pal around with John and me. Best wishes and kindest regards to the entire family.

Dear Diane and other family,
I am so sorry about John! I remember him as a very nice guy in high school, who took time to get to know a shy girl. In addition to being a fun brother and uncle as we've heard from you and Ryan, it seems he was a terrific husband, dad, and business person. Our thoughts and hugs are with you <3
