Ed Rent was a one of a kind human being ! As my brother said previously he did more for my family to keep us going than anyone I know. We looked forward to seeing him & the kids with each visit..His kindness will never be forgotten ! Today my wife & myself do many things for single parent families. I sometimes think I am carring on Mr. Rents legacy ..The entire Rent Family should be very proud & happy to have spend their lives with a guy like this ! He will be missed...

The "boys" were talking last night, and we've failed to acknowledge in the Obituary, how many charitable things Dad Rent did in the community.

Mr. Rent worked with Project Concern for many years fixing electrical items, mainly televisions, for people in the community without the funds to own the appliance or have it repaired themselves. He involved his sons and taught them the importance of "giving back" from an early age.

This morning I cannot look around my home, as I prepare for the onslaught of nieces to arrive, and not take note of ALL the projects my father-in-law helped us with. He was very generous with his time and his many talents.
