"Turtle"
of Rome, Pa.
Those we have held in our arm for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever…
Our hearts were broken on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, with the sudden and unexpected loss of our son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, Brandon "Turtle" Alan Crawford, 21, of RR 1, Box 206M, Rome, Pa. Brandon was born on February 9, 1987 in Towanda, Pa., the son of Teresa and Chad Evans and the son of Alan Crawford. Brandon was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School Class of 2005. He was currently employed by XLC as a forklift operator. Brandon enjoyed playing "Rockband," 4-Wheeling, snowboarding, hunting and just hanging out with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Teresa and Chad Evans, Rome, and Alan Crawford, Sugar Run, Brandon is survived by his sister, Brandy Carr; his grandparents, Lee and Louise Walters, John and Louise Evans, William Capwell, Sr.; his great-grandmother, Olive Holcombe; aunts and uncles, Polly Evans, Ron and Linda Hunsinger, Rick and Yvonne Basher, John and Cindy Evans, Mike and Vicki Hitchcock, Richard and Cindy Hutchinson, William and Katrina Capwell, Todd and Kathy Crawford; many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend, Nicole Benscoter. Brandon was predeceased by his sister, Stephanie Evans; great-uncles, Howard and Victor Brown; and his aunt, Margaret Evans.
A time of remembering the special gift Brandon was to all of us will be held on Monday, October 20th, at 12 noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols, with Pastor Charles Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in the Rome Cemetery. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Sunday, October 19th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel. A period of visitation will also be held on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Friends who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to the Pa. Cancer Coalition, Trout Run Business Center, 344 N. Reading Rd., Ephrata, Pa. 17522, in loving memory of Brandon "Turtle" Crawford.

Brandon don't worry we won't ever forget about the good times we had after work staying up to 4 0r 5 in the morning playing the xbox 360 and don't worry there's alot of stuff we talked about and did that we'll never forget wether we only remeber 2 of the good times or 10 what memories we have we will never forget we love and miss you alot

Terrsa and Chad, I'm really sorry to hear about Brandon. I will always remember him. I will always miss him especially seeing him at work. That's where I seen him last before he past away. Just remember this he is always with us in our hearts, our thoughts and our minds. If you need to anything don't be afraid to call me just ask aunt Barb for my number and she will give to you. Just remember I will always love you and Chad no matter what happens.

My heart goes out to Turtle's family. I'll always remember him sitting on his forklift at work and grinning whenever he saw me. He was a wonderful young man, full of life and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.

Teresa and Chad It's hard to explain the pain we feel for you Brandon was a wonderful child as for we all have wonderful child. He will be missed by everyone. Just remember we all loved him. I didn't know Brandon but I do know some of his family who are mourning the loss of a man taken way from them way too soon. My heart and prayers go out to all of you during this most difficult time. Find your strength in those who love you.

Turtle...you were a awesome guy. I'll never forget our late night rock band sessions, tippin back a few drinks, laughing silly, and just hanging out. You were a great friend and will always be in my heart! love and miss yah bud!

My deapest sympanthy goes out to all of brandons friends and family I know that he will be missed greatly. There arnt to many friend in this world like brandon was to all of his. I can hardly believe that he is gone still hopping I could wake up from a horrable nightmare but I know hes in a better place and one day we will all be together again. The last time I got to talk to Brandon, I could tell how much he enjoyed four-wheeling. He was so excited that he just got a new raptor. Hopefully if you go while doing something you enjoy, you can rest in peace. We'll miss you, Turtle.

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
