Doris Okrepkie Obituary
formerly of Newark Valley
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley. Fr. Zinoviy Zharsky will officiate. Interment will follow in St. John Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Johnson City. Her family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the MacPherson Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the activities department at Green Meadows, 120 Creekside Dr., Painted Post, N.Y. 14870; or Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Rd., Corning, N.Y. 14830, in loving memory of Doris M. Okrepkie.

To the family,
I used to work with both your father and your mom. I was in the same department as Doris for a long time at IBM and I enjoyed her humor, her honesty, and her joyful laughter. She was a sweetheart. And, of course, the name Okrepkie was not unfamiliar to the Szlucha family. I know that Doris will be missed by all of her family but rest assured, she and Walter are celebrating in eternity. My prayers and sympathies to all of you. God bless you.
