Granville Little Obituary

Granville Page Little
of Binghamton
Granville Page Little, 88, died from his cancer in Rockland, Maine, October 14th. He was predeceased by his high school sweetheart, Dorrit, twelve years ago. He had retired from IBM in 1975. A job he had loved as an Expeditor. A lifelong resident of Binghamton, he was also the unofficial ambassador of the east side. He dearly loved his life and heartily encouraged others to love theirs. Granville is survived by a daughter, Margaret Bechard and her husband, Raymond, Rouses Point, New York; also a son, Mark and his wife, Keary Sibole; granddaughter, Eavan; and grandson, Noah, who live happily in Palermo, Maine. A natural storyteller, a raconteur; his best story was his own story. An ardent lover of women, his patronizing ways were often a source of embarrassment for the rest of us. Just the same, everyone found him enchanting, generous, a friend to all. If we all live our lives fully, we will be paying tribute to this man.
A modest Memorial Service will be held at Fairview Methodist Church, 254 Robinson Street, on Saturday, October 25th, at 11:00 a.m.

Dear Peggy and Mark:
My most sincere regards to you on the death of your Father. Granville was the nicest man and I know that you were both proud of him and shall miss him dearly. Dad and I had many a long talk over the years and I truly miss his friendly ways.
God Bless!
Joe
