Helen F. Orzechowski
of Kingston
Helen F. Orzechowski, 96, passed away Saturday at Manor Care Health Services in Kingston, where she was a resident for five years. She was born April 22, 1912, in Exeter. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Yablonski Orzechowski. She had been employed in Binghamton, an airplane factory in Connecticut, and was retired from Western Electric in Kearney, New Jersey. Helen was an artist and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, John, and Albert; sisters, Anna and Mary. Surviving are sisters, Emily Yacaginsky, Binghamton, Regina Orzechowski, Exeter, Pa.; nieces, Rose Mary Bregande, Atlanta, Ga., Maryann Casebolt, Alabama, Barbara McMann, Binghamton; nephews, Charles Yacaginsky, Galway, N.Y., Joseph Yacaginsky, Bronx, N.Y., David Yacaginsky, Australia, Joseph Orzechowski, Florida, Paul Lapinski, Hamlin, Frank Lapinski, Brockport; many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, N.Y., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Church. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, N.Y. Friends may call Tuesday, from 5 - 7 p.m., at the Shea Funeral Home.
