of Binghamton
Catherine (Kay) D. Harrison, 95, of Binghamton, died peacefully at Wilson Hospital on Sunday, October 26, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, John Harrison; and her son, Charles Harrison. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia and Bill Ryan, Chenango Bridge, and Joyce Horstman, Rochester; sons, Bill Harrison and Lin Albers, Schwenksville, Pa., and Rick Harrison and Kathy Alexander, Binghamton; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Mary Girod; and her brother, Anthony Valentic. Kay was a member of Chenango Bridge Garden Club and Chenango Bridge Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory may be made to National Kidney Foundation, CNY Chapter, 731 James St., Suite 200, Syracuse, N.Y. 13203.
