George H. Chamberlain
of Owego, N.Y.
George H. Chamberlain, 72, of Owego, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. He was born in Binghamton, N.Y. on June 18, 1936, the son of Harold Sr. and Gladys (Smith) Chamberlain. George is survived by his wife, Sandra (Williams) Chamberlain; his four daughters, Lexi and David Mest, Lori and Geoff Starr, Cristi Martin, Candi Saxman and Jim Parker; his many well loved grandchildren, Josh and Sarah, Rian, Willie, Brian, Danielle, DJ, Hali, Brittany, Hannah; his sisters and brothers, Gail and Archie Harvey, Harold Jr. and Shirley Chamberlain, Gean Hillman, Bill and Pat Chamberlain, Ellen DeMarco; several nieces, nephews; and his faithful friends, Mamacita and Tex. George was deeply loved by his family, and will be sadly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at Richards Funeral Home, Rte. 17c West, Owego, N.Y., on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at 5:00 p.m., with Rev. Dennis King, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, Owego, officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, N.Y. Family and friends are invited to Richards Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Please share your memories at www.RichardsFH.com
