Vera Pipher Obituary
of Candor, N.Y.
Vera Pipher, 77, of Candor, N.Y., passed away at her home early Friday morning, October 31, 2008. She was born in Maine, N.Y., on July 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Elwin and Emily (Mikles) Austin. She was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Pipher; son, Ronald Pitcher; grandson, Dante Pitcher; and her sister, Joyce Abney. Vera is survived by her sons, Harry Pipher, Locke, N.Y., Lou Pipher; numerous grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Robert Bond, Avon Park, Fla.; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald and Christy Austin, Newark Valley, N.Y., David Austin, Orlando, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and her very dear friends, Bern Smith, Joan Barden, Cindy Seaman, Marjorie MacDonald.
In keeping with Vera's request, there will be no formal services. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, N.Y. with her husband Cal. Please share your memories at www.RichardsFH.com
