Lisa L. McNeil
of Endwell
Lisa L. McNeil, 43, of Endwell, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Ruth McNeil, Endwell; her father, Charles McNeil, Forest City, Pa.; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Klensk, Binghamton; her twin sister and her husband, Lora and Allan Johnson, Maine, N.Y.; her aunt and uncle, Carol and Raymond Truax, Chenango Forks; four nephews, Thomas Klensk, Jr., Erik, Kevin, and Brian Johnson; five cousins, Jeffrey and Tammy Truax, Earl and Sheri Hust, and Janet Truax, and many other cousins; a special friend, Eugene Sullivan, and many other friends. Lisa was a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School Class of 1982, Broome Community College and Binghamton University. She was employed by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles as a supervisor at Glendale. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Endicott and loved her two cats, Niko and Kelsey.
A Memorial Service to honor Lisa's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Douglas Clark, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be at the family's .convenience in the Maine Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in Lisa's memory to the memorial fund at the Central United Methodist Church, 17 Nanticoke Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760, or to the Animal Care Council, 131 Washington Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.

I am truly saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. I have many fond memories of good times shared as both co-workers & friends. I remember her mostly as a hard worker, with an optimistic disposition and a love of family, animals and respect for nature and her fellow man. I am so sad to hear of Lisa's passing. We meet when we attended BCC and worked together at k-mart back in the '80's.
