Dorothy K. Norton
of Binghamton
Dorothy K. Norton, 77, of Binghamton, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Monday, November 5, 2007. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Margaret Kaim; and a brother, Robert. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Paula (Tatusko) Norton; grandchildren, Nicole and Andy Ewing, all of Endicott and Timothy Norton, Seton Hall Law School, N.Y.C.; canine companion, Spicie; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including the Kaim, Gaube, Triffo and Tatusko families. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton and a retired employee of Binghamton Industrial. Dorothy volunteered at St. Paul's Clothing Bank and was a graduate of Binghamton North High School. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staffs of Fairview-Good Shepherd Home, Lourdes at Home, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, family, neighbors and friends, for their never ending love and support.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 1 p.m. from St. Paul's Church, Chenango Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 North Midler Avenue, Syracuse, N.Y. 13206, or the Broome County Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13903.

I was saddened to hear about the death of Mrs. Norton. I enjoyed talking with her during her stay at Good-Shepherd. She would walk to my office and talk with me about so many things. She was a lovely lady and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family.
