Christopher Slavin Obituary
of Binghamton
Christopher William Slavin, 46, of Binghamton, died on Sunday, November 4, 2007, at his home. He was predeceased by his father, William Slavin. He is survived by his wife, Susan Slavin, Binghamton; sons, Phillip Jaworski, Conklin, Andrew Jaworski, William Slavin, Gregory Slavin, all of Binghamton; mother, Lois Slavin, Johnson City; brothers and sister-in-law, Ted Slavin, Johnson City, Ben and Pam Slavin, Montgomery, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joilyn and Robert Hanley, Huntington Beach, Calif., Heather and John Andrews, Apalachin; grandson, Seth Jaworski; nephews, Alex Hanley and John Andrews; niece, Kaitlyn Andrews; also several aunts and uncles. He was an avid sportsman and was employed at Broome Community College in the Maintenance Department. A member of the Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, 308 Main Street, Johnson City. The Rev. Nola Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois 60018.

Susan; We wanted to be with you all at this time, but, it wasn't possible. Please know you are in our prayers daily and will continue to be. Chris and his family have been in our thoughts and prayers for a long time now. He always carried himself with so much strength and courage. When I saw him in February he was still smiling and we were all so hopeful. He's smiling down on his whole family with Bill at his side watching all with love.
