Norman Haines English
of Binghamton
Norman Haines English, 90, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his first wife, Doris T. English; a daughter, Joyce E. Vogelsong; a brother, Roger; a great-grandson, Benjamin Moyer. He is survived by his wife, Helena, Binghamton; his son, Lee and Debbi, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (David) Moyer, Lebanon, Pa., John B. (Marjanne) Hoffman, Jr., Lebanon, Pa., Audrey (Jason) Galea, Colonie, N.Y., Callie English, Syracuse; four great-grandchildren, Claudia and Matthew Hoffman, Mary and Anna Moyer; sister-in-law, Marjorie (Peg) English. He was a lifelong member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Binghamton; a Mason in Whitney Point. He was retired from Binghamton Container Company. Norman enjoyed spending time at his camp, Heart Lake, Pa.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 at Vestal Hills Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Main St., Binghamton on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 1:30. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
