Alice was a great lady. I was fortunate enough to have had several lunches at her home with Alice & Mary Lou Breedlove. What fun we had. She always had just the right book to recommend for your reading.

No one knew more about all the new books at the Hennepin County Library than Alice. She graciously shared her knowledge & enthusiasm for good stories with all of us lucky enough to know her. She was a kind and caring colleague.

Alice and Lea were very dear friends of my parents, John and Madelyne Anderson, and they were godparents to me and my sister. We have wonderful memories of our time with them and Alice, like Lea, will be dearly missed by our family.

To Alice's family,
My husband's Grandmother, Virginia Jamieson became friends with Alice while working at the library. They had great times together and Virginia will miss her.
She was so kind to Virginia and us, sending cards on special occasions and just being a kind soul to all. She was a gift to the world and will be remembered forever. I am sure she is in a good place now. You have our sympathy. Sincerely, Maggie

Alice was a woman of deep faith, coming to church every Sunday until the last few weeks, sitting in the front row! I admired her determination and her positive spirit. I will miss her.

I had the good fortune to work with Alice for several years at the library many years ago. She was a kind generous loving woman. Mary Wilson

To Alice's family,
Your aunt was such a special person. She worked with my mother, Lois Johnson. They were good friends. I remember visiting Lea and Alice's home as a child. I also received many thoughtful cards over the years. She was so faithful in her friendships and so sincere in her wishes. I have a lovely knit cat that she gave to me for a baby shower gift, a cat notebook that was given to me as a graduation gift from high school. She was an honored guest at my bridal shower. I will cherish memories of her and will miss her very much. A gift will be given to the humane society in her memory.
Best wishes,
