Juanita Struble Obituary

Juanita M. Struble
of Johnson City
Juanita M. Struble, 73, passed away Saturday evening, November 24, 2007 at Binghamton General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Genevieve Foreman; and a sister, Helen Means. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert D. Struble, Sr., Johnson City; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert D., Jr. and Theresa Struble, Conway, New Hampshire; grandson, Skylar Struble; a sister, Mildred Handy, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Chris Foreman, Rochester; a brother-in-law, Robert Means, Chenango Forks; also sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Johnson City. She was a retired teacher with Cortland BOCES with 10 years of service. Juanita was a lover of carousels, carousel horses and Mickey Mouse.
Funeral Services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Thursday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Christine J. Day, Rector of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, Southern Tier Chapter, P.O. Box 5, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790 in Juanita M. Struble's memory.

Bob, I just found out that Juanita passed away. I know that you loved her with all your heart. Juanita was a great lady and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your wife, Juanita. May God ease the pain in your heart.

dearest Rob
I will miss my precious angel. Although I know that I will see her again someday. there is a reason that GOD brought Juanita into my life . She brought me sunshine everyday here at Bridgewater. It was a priveledge to provide care for her at her most needed time. I will remember her always .

Juanita was a treasured member of our June, 1952 graduating class at JC. We described her as "The happiness we prize". My thoughts are with her family at this sad time, and I hope her memories last forever.

Dear Bob, I have fond memories of you and your dear wife. I remember the day I met Bob Jr. how thrilled Juanita was carry that precious child into my parents grocery store,(Darling's Market). She was beaming with love and pride! My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
